Hi, Cravify is currently a totally free service. So it doesn’t generate any profit yet, however it doesn’t cost much to run. I am working on this project with a friend from Oxford University. Thanks for your compliment.

- Remove a listing by one click:
Now you can easily remove a listing that you don’t want to see in the map by clicking on a small cross at the up-right corner of the listing. Be careful as you can’t undo for now.
- Filter read listings:
One click hides read listings from the map, simple as that.
- Filter preferences are automatically saved:
Yes, one of the most annoying thing on Cravify is now discarded. Now you can search as many times as you want without resetting your preferences again.

I started looking at Cravify 20 min ago & already have a viewing for an hour from now. Amazing!
I found two flats right by mine, much nicer for a similar price without looking like fake listings…whatever magic you’re doing, keep doing it!
SO glad that search is over. Flat hunting is stressful! Can’t recommend @cravify enough for finding places though. Such a good tool!
We are mainly mentioned or slightly mentioned with our side projects in:
- What do the numbers in the bubbles mean ?
They represent numbers of listings at those locations. You have to zoom in or click on one of bubbles until the listing details appear.
- What do the colours mean ?
They represent the density of listings at that location. The darker means denser.
- Where all the data come from ?
Gumtree, Zoopla, Rightmove, Spareroom, Easyroommate, and more to come.
- How often is the data updated ?
It is updated hourly. However we don’t update data from 0AM-6AM, please bear with it. But, we are working hard to update data in real time, stay tuned.
- Why Safari crashes while I am browsing Cravify ?
I don’t know but I reported to Apple. Meanwhile I recommend to use Chrome or Firefox instead.
- Why on Zoopla I see a property which has been posted today but I can’t find on Cravify when I tune “posted” filter to “today” ?
Lots of listings are reposted everyday even though they were first created long time ago. In order to display listings reposted (or updated) today, you should use “updated” filter instead.
- Why is there a property which was posted on Zoopla 2 days ago but I can’t find it on Cravify ? However I found an exactly the same one on Cravify which is originally from Gumtree instead.
The reason is Cravify detects reposted listings even from cross platforms. Therefore only content from the newest listing is displayed on the map.
- I got a “Ad detail is not available at this zoom level” message, what does that mean ?
It means that there are too many ads in the area that you are looking at. To show more detail, you need to zoom in or change your searching preferences so that there are less ads to be displayed.
- Why is your sharing vital to us ?
All of us know that no service could survive without a certain number of users, especially free services like Cravify. However Cravify is made and run by only one engineer (me). I’m a full-time employee, a part-time PhD student, so I have no time to market Cravify by myself. That’s why I need your help to maintain and to develop Cravify.
- Why is your sharing good for you ?
As you might know that there is a frustration in this renting business, e.g. expired listings or scams. On Cravify, users can report these invalid listings to the community. It means that more and more people on the platform will help improve the data to be more reliable.
